Stormy May, producer of the Path of the Horse documentary is currently working on the Path of the Human, the sequel to the Path of the Horse.  As part of film development and community-building, Stormy would like to hold 100 calls with anybody who is ready to have a conversation.  Whether you would like to consult with Stormy about your own horses or life challenges or are interested in being part of the change that is going on within the horse world as well as among humanity, she’s ready to listen to your stories, share what she’s learned, and create together a connection that will help us help others around the world.  All calls will be recorded for possible use in the Path of the Human movie.  If you would like your call to not be recorded please tell Stormy.

To schedule your 30 minute Skype or phone conversation with Stormy please email Bonnie ( and include a brief description of what you’d like to talk about.  Calls will be scheduled to take place during the month of June.

Hi Robert, you have been such a help already with the editing of the Path of the Horse book and willingness to live the life you feel is right. Let’s stay in touch! -Stormy

  • Heather Somerset says:

I would like to be of assistance if needed, and speak of my relationship with my horse as opposed to my relationship with humans and how that bond has been made stronger than any other!

  • Stormy,

You wrote in ‘The Path of the Horse,’

“If we want to live in a clean, green world, we are the ones who need to create it. We’re going to find the time by curbing our indulgences whether they be horseback riding, television watching, Internet gaming, travel, sports, shopping, family, movies, pets or any number of other ways we spend our time, and using this time to reach out to our community, learning to help fellow humans by following our hearts.”

Well said, could not agree more. There is also a choice for those of us who see this vision of a world living in wholeness to work together – cooperatively, not competitively, all together for a common vision with many facets. To raise awareness and fuel the change.

I woold be open to participating in this project. I am coming to a fork in the road of my life. Preparing for retirement after 20 years in public service and wanting desperately to do something with animals. I have horses and want to do something involving horses that will also make me a small living. I am very confused and worried about the next chapter in my life.

  • Valerie says:

Hello, I am from Ireland and am loving this website and your movie…. I would love to participate but wonder if you are still working on this project…Blessings

  • Elaine Mair says:

Realise I am a bit late coming to the table…..only stumbled upon your doc. Yesterday! However, totally in sinc with what you are sharing and would love to somehow be a part. Have been passionate about horses my entire life. Lost my best buddy a year ago and have just bought a ‘project’. I wanted a youngster that I could totally start from scratch but then this 9 year old caught my eye. Broken in in at 3 and not really had much done with him since although I can tell from his behaviour that he’s had a bit of a rough time. I am just fascinated by him and what he has to teach me……even though I’ve only had him a week my desire is to just love him and care for him not really bothered if he doesn’t want me to ride him. So, I’m in beautiful Cornwall UK……Any plans for the UK? How can I get involved? I also spent a great part of my life connecting with people from all walks of life as a social worker in Asia, albeit in a religious format. Have left that path now but very much open to how I can be a part of this incorporating my life long love of horses and their relationship with people. Thanks for listening, Elaine.

I love what you are teaching. Accidentally stumbled on your youtube documentary, wow! I left a long comment (JaneAfrica). Thank you. My horse is barefoot, and I ride her a little bit up here in the mountains, mostly bareback. She’s always had a bit but that’s the first thing I took away from her when I bought her. She rides perfectly well with a gentle hackamore that I’ve padded up with sheepskin. I do some work with her in the round pen, and it’s mostly so she can kick up her heels a bit because her barn of three llamas are too lazy to run with her. Eventually I’ll get another horse for her. Right now I’m enjoying the love she just pumps out. Being a vegan now has also helped me tremendously with my horse. She loves to breathe my breath. And I love to breathe hers too….thank you. God Bless You.

I am so glad to be a part of this journey…terrified…relieved…full of dreams… The new is never easy. But thank goodness I’m not on my own. And one day I will dance with my horses. And for the first time in 20 years I am reaching out to horses again like they are strange to me, but beautiful and enchanting. I am a child again, and hey, that’s scary, but also full of new light and colour. Thank you. The Path of the Horse is a huge Beginning.
